I spent an eye-opening seven weeks volunteering at an ecolodge 40 minutes out of La Paz in July and August 2019. Spending my weekends and free time in the city - mostly with a family that pretty much adopted me - I got a locals view of the place and fell a little bit in love with a city that I can only describe as a beautiful chaos.
