Old Town Dubrovnik
Head to the enticing edge of the old town walls and walk through the incredible gate that leads to a place that makes you feel like you’re in the 13th century, which is when the Old Town was built. When you walk through those gates, you’ll be in awe of how beautiful your surroundings are, and it feels like you’ve stepped into a different time, in a different world.
Wonder and get lost in the cobblestoned streets full of ice cream shops and cafes. (You might want to pack a lunch or just buy a baguette and some cheese from the supermarket because the cafes are quite overpriced). You can do a walking tour or a “Game of Thrones” tour of the old town, you can pay around 180 kuna (£25) to enter the old wall, or you can just wander around for free and take a bazillion gorgeous photos (which is what we did).
Don’t forget your bathers, because just outside the old town walls are these awesome beach bars. Read the next part to the Dubrovnik story to find out more about them!
