Dominique Ansel Bakery London
Dominique Ansel is one of the most popular bakeries in London, and once you visit, it’s east to see why. This bakery, located in the lovely Belgravia neighborhood of London, is home to some of the most unique desserts in London. Dominique Ansel is known for its special pastries like the famed Cronut! The bakery sells over a dozen different types of cakes and made-to-order desserts, so there’s really something for everyone!
When I visited, I tried the Zahra Rose pastry, which was a beautiful pastry made of chocolate mousse and raspberry with a rose center. My mom had the Paris-London, which was a light pastry made with an Earl Grey cream with lemon curd and blackberry jam. We paired our pastries with iced lattes, which were also delicious! If you’re in the mood for something savory, you can order brunch all day long! The Dominique Ansel London Bakery also offers an afternoon tea that looks incredible.
The restaurant itself is really beautiful. At the back of the café, you’ll find an indoor patio filled with flowers (it’s perfect for taking Instagram-worthy photos of your pastries)! I honestly expected that the Dominique Ansel Bakery wouldn’t live up to the hype, but I loved my pastry and coffee, and I would love to go back and try more of the seasonal pastries like the Cronut of the month or the What-a-Melon watermelon soft served (that is served in a real watermelon slice)!
