Gargote Fashion Café - GFC
Party on the slopes? Here you go!
The Gargote Fashion Café (GFC) is a very special club right on the ski slopes in Sestriere (TO). At the GFC you can have lunch or dinner on the slopes anytime during the winter season. You can choose to stay inside the warm main room or in the cozy veranda.
Or, if the weather is good, you can even get out into the beautiful dehor. But the soul of the GFC is revealed during the aprés-ski and night parties. The best day to go out is definitely Wednesday: from 5 PM till 7:30 PM the aprés-ski party will make you want to dance on the tables in the disco-dehor while you watch the amazing mountain sunset. The DJ set is by the infamous Richmore DJ, right from Sauze d’Oulx. Then, after 11 PM, you can join the crazy night party that most of the ski and snowboard instructors from Sestriere and surrounding areas attend. It will be mind-blowing and will make you want to live the mountain life all year long!
The most important events during the season are the “Who will be the worst” and the “Pond Skim” parties. You can imagine what I am talking about, but I will give you a couple of tips anyway: 80s style, tandem skis, floating bathtubs and crazy hair styles will be just the beginning.
