Santa Monica Pier - A place so Vibrant

I personally find it crazy how as a child you see these places and you dream of seeing them and one day you are standing there and you think to yourself “ this place is incredible” but for other people it’s a daily thing. I remember playing GTA and always visiting the Pier and then standing there in real life thinking how does this look almost identical to the game. The Santa Monica Pier is also where Miley Cyrus shot her music video which made the pier much more recognized and famous. The pier itself has so much to offer as well as views of Venice Beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. On one side of the pier there is an arcade/ Theme park with many different rides and games, which looks like a fun day out with the family or friends. On the other side there are some restaurants and buskers but mostly just a walkway to get to the end of the pier, which is a view of the ocean. Quite breathtaking actually. If you look back you’ll see the roller coaster ride in all its glory. Next to the pier is another beach and then further along on the other side would be Malibu if you wanted to drive along the highway towards Malibu. The Pier itself is something definitely worth visiting and spending your time at. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

I love the fact that at the end of the pier you can see into the horizon

There is so so much to do at the pier that you can easily spend a few hours there. I would recommend going at night to see the colours light up.
