It begun almost 200 years ago as a ranching and trading fair, a place where local sellers would go to do business. Over the years it became more and more popular. People started visiting the fair just for dancing flamenco and the joy of being all together.

The regional dance is called "Sevillanas”, a flamenco dance to be dance in pairs and divided in 4 short choreography. Is mesmerizing to see all the fringes and colors of the regional suits swinging all around while women are dancing!

Food and drinks are also one of the main points of this event. Fried marinated fish and the Spanish omelet are a must if you are visiting. On the other hand white wine mixed with sweet tonic is the main drink these days. And you will need to drink a lot of it to refresh yourself as during the day Seville is quite hot!

Last, you can not leave without going to the “Inferno Street”. Despite its scary name this place is full of fun-fair equipment and cotton candy street shops. As you can imagine, this is just the perfect area of the fair to enjoy with kids.
