Kicking it at La Ballena

Costa Ballena, or La Ballena as it's known to locals is a small resort town in the south of Spain. It is located between Cadiz to the East and Chipiona to the west, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea to the south. The town spans over two kilometers of sandy white beaches and has many hotels and rental properties, from affordable rooms to all-decked-out villas, ideal for staying with a group of friends or family. It's a very laid-back environment ideal for relaxing and reconnecting with nature.

The main beach trail spans the entire length of the beach, over 2 km. There are also several trails that go inland, including the Camino Natural de Rota, which spans 7.5 km.
