Castlepoint, New Zealand

In Januar 2018 my friend Jule and I started our first big trip. For almost 3 months, just us 18 years old girls. Our first destination was New Zealand. We had to fly 30 hours literally to the other side of the earth.

Castlepoint become a very important place for us because it was one of our first stops in New Zealand. There we felt the first time we had finally arrived with our hearts. Our homesickness stopped and we were just happy and ready for the adventure awaiting us.

We explored New Zealand by car. We rented a camping van and drove everywhere we wanted. It was an amazing experience. We were really independent and could see so much of this beautiful country. We toured one month through the south and north island.
