Torchy’s Tacos

Forget the bbq, Austin means tacos. Torchy’s Tacos began as a food trailer and red Vespa and quickly became one if Austin’s favorite taco joints.

Now, Torchy’s Tacos has Texas storefronts in Amarillo, Austin, College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, San Antonio, San Marcos, Tyler and Waco.

Shiner Bock is a tasty local brew.

The menu spans from breakfast tacos to chips and dip (see: queso) and salads.

Giant tacos smothered in cheese and salsa.

The Trailer Park taco consisted of fried chicken, green chiles, jack cheese and poblano sauce. Fried avocado tacos are hand battered and fried fresh avos and refried beans.

Queso and two tacos were more than enough, especially when you wash it down with a cold beer!
