Xlsior Festival, Mykonos

Launched in 2009, the Xlsior Festival has quickly gained infamy as the most exclusive international gay summer festival on the planet. The 7-day festival takes place in late August, drawing somewhere in the neighborhood of 30,000 gay men from all over the globe who come together to celebrate life and the universal language of music sexy guys you can meet in mykonos!

A paradise bathed in glamour, sophistication, and mesmerizing beauty, Mykonos is well-established as a world epicenter of gay culture and hedonism. I’ve been to circuit parties and festivals all over the globe, and I can tell you with certainty that nothing has quite compared to Xlsior. The breathtaking open air venues, the stunning landscape, the international DJ lineup, and the friendly atmosphere put Xlsior on a level of its own, in my opinion.

What I enjoyed most about Xlsior would have to be the venue choices and the production value of the events. From the opening party at the Elysium hotel, perched atop a cliff overlooking the town and the sea, to the incredible fireworks during the closing party at Cavo Paradiso, to dancing directly on the beach, whomever put this event together outdid themselves at every turn. I also enjoyed meeting new people from a wide mix of cultures. At one point or another I’d mingled with groups of guys from Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and of course the USA.
