Our stay at Cavo Tagoo Mykonos
There are many places and experiences you can describe with words. Words like ‘amazing’, ‘life changing’, ‘magnificent’ and ‘exceptional’. Well none of those words give CAVO TAGOO Mykonos justice! We don’t think we have the words to truly describe our stay here but we’ll try.
We’d wake at about 9 a.m., emerge onto our private terrace for a morning swim, enjoy an espresso and a healthy breakfast of fresh fruit, granola and croissants. At around 11 a.m. we’d lie down and fall asleep in the sun on our private sundeck. I’d wake up, dangle a toe in the water, fall asleep again, then wake when it was time to drink champagne and eat strawberries. We’d swim for a while, climb back out, lie on the big cushions on the terrace of our private villa, and be almost totally dry by the time lunch was ready – maybe tzatziki with pita bread, a Greek salad, and a bottle or two of cold white wine. We would then venture out into civilization to enjoy the rhythms of the music down by the main pool with young and beautiful people around us or have some phenomenal Japanese cuisine at Ovac restaurant. In the evening we’d watch the sunset over the water from the windows of our bedroom. For us CAVO TAGOO Mykonos was life changing.
Cavo Tagoo Mykonos is the place to be. Resting in wondrous cliff sides with its alluring Mykonos style and whitewashed architecture, it is impossible to forget and impossible to leave. The views are impeccable, the villas spacious and super Instagrammable (obviously something we love – we could take an endless amount of great pictures here, it was just SO easy). It’s got class, style, and glamour. Everyday feels more perfect than the last.
As full-time travelers we’ve slept in a lot of beds in a lot of different countries, all around the world! But this is one property that stood out from them all.
Below is how we usually woke up during our perfect days, captured in Cavo Tagoo Mykonos:
