Zanzibar
The paradise island of Africa
Ig:Pablomtzphoto
Zanzibar is a combination of African and Arab culture. Famous for its paradisiacal beaches and for being the birthplace of one of the most famous vocalists of our time, Freddie Mercury, it is an African island that belongs to Tanzania.
The most important city of Zanzibar is Stone Town, which was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
Despite all its natural wonders, the greatest thing about Zanzibar is not its paradise beaches with crystal clear waters and white sand, but its people. They are always kind and greet you with the biggest smile.
If you go to the market to buy some of the famous spices of the region, you can expect to be received with such kindness.
Beauty can be found not only in nature but in their towns as well. While walking their narrow streets you can be delighted by all its colors and appreciate their incredible carved doors, which you can find in all the houses in Zanzibar.
To finish the day you can go to the night fish market where tables are set with different varieties of seafood and local chefs prepare some exotic and delicious dishes.
