Second day in Philadelphia
Around America
On this day we went to visit the historic center of Philadelphia, which is in the area near the Delaware River where William Penn and the Quakers first settled.
First of all we visited the Independence National Hostorical park where there are many buildings and places related to the American revolution.
After that we went to Franklin Square Park, a very nice park. If you get the chance to go there, look at your feet because there are tiles with dedications written on them. For example I saw a tile with the words: “Lauren will you marry me? Love, Phil” ... how much sweetness!!❤️
Then we reached the Reading Terminal Market, which is a closed public market. Here we had lunch with a huge turkey sandwich. Really good, but too big ahah!
After lunch we headed to Society Hill, located near Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. And then we went for a relaxing walk in Riverfront.
