How to spend a day at Cozumel
When we were staying in Playa del Carmen we took the short ferry ride to the beautiful island of Cozumel to spend the day. We decided to rent scooters from Ernesto’s to explore the island.
There is a scenic road that follows right along the coast of the island. It was an unforgettable experience cruising along with the salty air blowing through our hair! Wearing helmets of course ;)
We stopped for lunch and a mid-afternoon nap in the hammocks at Playa Palancar.
The black bean nachos and virgin pina colada were absolutely delicious and the perfect beach snack!
Of course you have to stop and swing at the bar with your best friend!
With miles of pristine beach it’s easy to pull over and enjoy an empty beach all to yourselves. You’ll also find several snorkel shops along the way if you want to stop and take a swim.
We absolutely loved spending the day exploring Cozumel and can’t wait to go back!
