Meatless Quintanaroo
From Street Vendors to Well Designed Restaurants
From budget to fancy places, Mexico has a wide variety of food for vegetarians and vegans. Or just forget about vegans and vegetarians... It’s just so juicy and fresh!
You can find street vendors in Isla Mujeres near basketball court from the city hall.
So in Tulum, we stayed in El Jardin de Frida Hostal. It’s a very well designed hostal and one night was 11€ per person. Your breakfast is free but you have to let them know in advance if you are vegan or vegetarian.
This menu is fix for every morning, it has granola, honey and seasonal fruits. Absolutely amazing. After that they bring you another meal which varies day to day. You can expect some tacos with fried beans though :D
Anyway I will continue my photos
Even thought I‘m vegan sometimes I needed to eat cheese or butter to have the whole experience or just support the locals. Just as this bakery local people needs our support. This bakery is in the main stress of Tulum downtown. Looks delicious and very sweet old man is working.
