The Cauldron - a Harry Potter-themed Bar

Are you a Harry Potter fan? If you are, you can’t miss The Cauldron, an immersive Harry Potter- themed bar in London! While you won’t be sorted into a Hogwarts House or see The Boy Who Lived, you will don a wizard robe and get a magic wand! When you enter The Cauldron, you’ll get your wand and head downstairs to the potions studio. You’ll be seated with your party at a table with all sorts of instruments of witchcraft (that you’ll later use to make your cocktails). After that, you’ll head to a wall covered in animal heads, and you’ll press your magic wand against a special spot on the wall to receive your first drink. My gin cocktail came straight from the mouth of a unicorn! You can also choose from different beers or mead for your first drink.

After that, you can chose two molecular cocktails from a list and get to work making your special potions! There are only 3 choices, and you’ll make your cocktail as a group. We mixed our first drink in a black cauldron, and we used fun ingredients like dry ice to enhance our cocktails.

The Cauldron is located in Stoke Newington in northeast London, and tickets range in price from 29.99 GBP to 34.99 GBP depending on the day and time of your reservation. Be sure to book ahead of time- the experience takes about an hour and 45 minutes. The whole experience is so cool and immersive, and it’s a must-do for anyone who loves Harry Potter!​
