Great Coffee in Bangkok
Roots Coffee in theCOMMONS

If you’ve read my other stories on Hero, you will know that I love finding the best coffee in town. On my first morning in Bangkok, I laid in bed for about an hour and did some research on the different coffee shops in town. I found a local barista on Instagram and sent her a message to get some insight from someone in the industry.
When I finally got out of bed, I called a car and headed to Roots in a market called “the COMMONS”. If you’re wanting to eat some breakfast or lunch, there are some good options within the COMMONS as well.

When trying a new coffee shop, I usually get a pour over so I can get the best and freshest version of their coffee. I ordered a pour over that was grown in Northern Thailand, just outside of Chiang Mai.

After I ordered, I grabbed a seat at the bar they had and the barista walked over and made my drink in front of me. Before she started pouring, she handed me a notecard with information about the coffee farm and farmer for the particular coffee I ordered.

I also got a blueberry croissant which paired perfectly with my coffee.
