JAPAN TOKYO, Shibuya

Exploring the wonders of Shibuya

JAPAN TOKYO, Shibuya

Tokyo is one of those places that everyone hears about and knows about but unless you are in Asia it seems to far to travel. All I can say is go. Just go. There is a place called Shibuya, which might be familiar to you if you have watched the Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. Shibuya is in my opinion better than the famed New York Time quare. Once in Shibuya the first and longest thing you should do is the famous Shibuya crossing where you can walk in any direction. Spend at least an hour there and just take it all in. there are some great platforms right next to the crossing which you can stand on to get a different perspective. If you are a photographer try using some long exposure techniques to show how busy the place is. To get a better perspective head to the Tokio hotel and take the lift up to the restaurants. Your lift door should open right next to a window where you can see the whole crossing from 40 floors above the ground.

Next up is Shibuya 109 Shopping center. It is a department store mostly for women but walking inside it in which you can only walk in a circle in each level is an experience of its own.

Shibuya’s is really a world of its own with so many different cafe’s shops and things to do. Spend at least half a day there and get lost in Japan’s busiest District.
