A Paris Stay With a View!
The first thing I do when planning a new trip is to make sure I find the perfect hotel. I greatly value my comfort so it's important to me that after a long day of sightseeing or a busy night eating and drinking, I have a nice comfortable place to retire to. To me, it is crucial, because while destination itself might be fantastic, if I come back to a place I don’t like or feel comfortable in, it will leave me with a negative feeling.
In Paris, there are unlimited options to chose from that suit any budget, from charming 3-star hotels to ultra luxury 5-stars. Every time I visit, I like stay in a different part of the city, there are so many great neighborhoods to experience and new places you haven’t seen before.
What a perfect location!
For this stay in Paris, I chose the Hotel Splendid Etoile, a beautiful and well-rated 4-star. The location is amazing. Located right next to the Arc de Triomphe and the Avenue des Champs-Elysees. With great restaurants and cafes around for lunch and dinner and in walking distance to plenty of sightseeing highlights and shopping streets.

I stayed in the Superior room with a balcony. What makes these rooms unique is the most breathtakingly beautiful view that one could ever see of the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de l’Étoile. The hotel is also known for its delicious food: the Pré Carré restaurant offers the very best of traditional French cuisine, highlighted by a few touches of modernity. My room was very spacious, which in other hotels in Paris is not always the case, and tastefully decorated. Everything was in perfect condition.

As you might know by now if you follow my stories, one of my favorite parts of any hotel stay is enjoying a delicious breakfast, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint! The breakfast has a lot of variety, both warm and cold dishes and plenty of fresh juices. One of the days I chose to have it delivered to my room. With the sun shining and that view of the Arc de Triomphe, it couldn’t be more perfect!
