Salobre Resort, Gran Canaria!
While looking for hotels to stay in Gran Canaria, there was one that stood out to me in terms of style, amenities, and outdoor space; it was the Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity. It exceeded all my expectations. I stayed here for 3-nights and almost did not leave the hotel because it was just too perfect. My room was located on the 8th floor with a balcony overlooking the beautiful golf course, mountains, and ocean. The room itself was spacious, with a super comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom.

The hotel has two different restaurants. One is a buffet and the other a la carte. Since my stay was half-board, I ate my breakfast and dinners in the buffet restaurant, and it was incredible. Especially the dinners which each night had different themed cuisines.During my 3-night stay, I enjoyed an Asian, Italian, and Street Food night. Besides the restaurants, there are also two bars, one on the ground floor and another on the 11th floors, which is the top floor and provides the most beautiful views and sunsets one could ask for.
Countless pools to enjoy!
Another favorite part of mine was all the different pools here. I’m not even sure if I have seen all of them as there were just too many to count. There were at least five or six different ones. One of them is a hidden pool, which is not even on the hotel map. It was empty and super cute looking with endless views on the island. But my all-time favorite was located on the 11th floor, which is vast but also heated to the perfect temperature. The hotel also has a massive spa area, which has it’s own heated infinity swimming pool, overlooking the gorgeous surrounding views.
Paradise found on 11th floor!
Sometimes you want to enjoy a relaxing holiday where you don’t do much, eat good food, drink lovely wines and cocktails, swim in a beautiful warm pool and lay under the sun. Well, this hotel is perfect for exactly that. If this sounds good to you, I recommend booking a stay here and enjoying some warm and beautiful days in paradise.
