24 hours in Sedona Arizona
The best things to do and see in Sedona
Sedona is ranked as one of the most beautiful places in America by USA Weekend’s Annual Travel Report. We were excited to spend a weekend exploring the area. We chose to stay at the Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort. It is located in the charming village of Oak Creek and is only a few miles from several popular hikes. The resort is 16 miles from downtown Sedona and away from the crowds and tourists
In the morning we headed out for a hike to Devil’s Bridge. The 4.2-mile out and back trail leads to an incredible natural bridge that you can walk across.
A few other popular hikes in the area are Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Soldier’s Pass and the West Fork Trail.
We then packed a picnic lunch and went to Slide Rock. This popular swimming hole is known for the slick rock that creates a natural water slide.
That evening we headed out on a Pink Jeep sunset tour. We loved the exciting off roading adventure. It was such a fun way to experience the desert’s beauty.
Whether you go to Sedona for relaxation or outdoor adventure, it is sure to be a memorable experience!
