Ice park on Tomislav square

Between the Art Pavilion and the monument of the first Croatian King Tomislav is located the most beautiful attraction of Advent in Zagreb - a skating rink that stretches over 2000 square meters. Modelled on the beautiful skating rink at the City Councils in Vienna, which attracts a large number of people of every Advent, Zagreb has got its magical Ice Park where skates can be rented and used for skating outdoors in the beautiful ornate King Tomislav Square. Skating rink is open every day during the Advent time from 10 am to 11 pm with some changes in the interval to one-day being holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's). In addition to ice skating, the Ice Park also has something to offer with its rich gastronomic offerings of which we definitely recommend knowing Germknodel. The park also features the so-called Ice Viewpoint, a platform on the northeast part of the rink above the skating rental area, which offers a beautiful view of the Ice Park. It is also possible to order hot alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Throughout the Advent period, a music program is organized in the Ice Park, while one of the specific things in the Ice park is "slipping in" in the new year that requires buying the necessary tickets for the midnight ice skating (from 23:30 to 00:30) while those who are not skating fans can simply take advantage of the beautiful fireworks organized for all visitors in the park.
