Guanajuato, Historic City.
You need to travel there.
If you want to see the past of México and the city that wrote the history about the modern country; the beautiful streets full of colors, culture, and traditions - Guanajuato is the destination for you.
Any time is a good time to walk around the streets here. The city was founded as a mining city, and you can feel the past and the present when you stay in any place there; every street, every corner, every restaurant - each place has a lot of history and many stories to tell.
If you want to eat some haute cuisine, you can do it in the heart of the city in Casa Valadez, where traditional dishes are made by the chef.
There are many majestic views near the downtown area. If you enjoy taking pictures you must go to "Callejón del Beso", it's definitely worth it.
You can walk and stop to drink a cold drink in any of the public squares of the city.
This is an "Alebrijes" parade - Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical and mythical creatures. This parade comes through downtown in the middle of the day, all the way from Oaxaca.
I hope you enjoy these pictures from this beautiful city in México.
And at night, you can go to the traditional "callejoneadas" where you can walk around the city center, singing and dancing, and taking in the sights of the city.
And for dinner (and to have something cold to drink), there are very good bars and restaurants right there in the center of the city.
Enjoy your travel!
