Lina Stores is the perfect place for amazing Italian food in the heart of London’s Soho. After lusting over their Instagram feed for months, I finally had dinner at Lina Stores, and it did not disappoint. This restaurant itself is adorable with mint green décor and simple bar seating. The chefs use top quality Italian ingredients to create simple and delicious dishes.
The menu is similar to a Spanish tapas style, where each dish is small and meant for sharing. Lucky for you, that means you can try lots of yummy dishes during your meal! I started my meal with a tasty rose spirtz and the polpette di melanzane, which was a yummy fritter made of eggplants and tomato. We followed that with several pasta dishes (all the pasta is homemade and super fresh, so it’s a must-order here). I personally loved the burrata pansoti and the squid ink spaghetti pastas.
Be sure to get there early or book a reservation- this restaurant fills up FAST because it’s all bar seating! This is the perfect place to stop for dinner before seeing a West End show because it’s close to many of the theaters! If you can’t make it to Lina Stores while you’re in London, try to check out the Lina Delicatessen- this incredible Italian deli has been operating at this location since 1944!
