My Favorite Beaches in Byron Bay
My favourite things to do in Byron Bay pt 1.
Since I arrived in Australia, I heard a lot of stories about Byron Bay and honestly, in the beginning, I just thought it was one of those places terribly overrated. When I finally managed to visit, I have to admit that I needed just ten minutes to completely changed my mind. Because even if it’s true that Byron Bay is a super touristic place, it has something magical. Byron has plenty of things to do and I didn't have the time to do all of them (So now I have an excuse to come back) that’s why I picked a list of four of my favorites activities.
The beaches: yes, I know, Australia has got millions of beaches so why was Byron Bay different? It’s all about the atmosphere. You can choose between Main beach, right in the heart of the town, where you can easily find a bunch of guys drumming at the sunset. Tallow beach, an endless wild beach where you will hardly encounter anyone. The pass, one of the most famous surf breaks. And the last but not least Watego and Little Watego beaches, both of them the perfect spots if you love crystal water and white sand.
