Eat and Drink at The Ned

If you're looking for something special..

Are you looking for a sophisticated, beautiful and ‘in’ place to go in London for food and drink? Then you’re in for a treat.

The Ned is one of my favourite places in London, it is the perfect place for a coffee or pot of tea (sorry Starbucks); a glass of wine; a beer or cocktail — depending on the occasion — brunch; lunch; breakfast; and dinner. Their Sunday roasts are quite something.. It quite literally serves every purpose, and what makes it stand out from the crowd is the beautiful interiors inside and out.

As soon as you walk in the sheer grandeur and luxury hits you, it is one very large room with a grandstand in the middle where they play jazz music with 9 restaurants lined around the edges. Each one serving different cuisine so everybody is catered for. You have to book for the restaurants but you can also just walk in, where you’ll be directed to the Nickle Bar at the back. You'll be encouraged to take a seat (if it’s not too busy) and order drinks and nibbles, or simply stand at the bar. Alternatively, you can have just walk around and discover the little nooks where you can stand with your drink and people watch.

I’ve eaten at The Ned a few times, with Millies being my go-to. The food is exceptional and the services are un paralleled. It is quite pricey but if you’re going for a special occasion is ticks every box, and you won’t be disappointed.

If you want to make it an all-round experience you can stay at The Ned too as it’s predominately a hotel. I haven’t stayed there myself but I can only imagine how stunning the rooms are. I have, however, seen the toilets, and despite that sounding a little obscure… if you know you know. You’ll be taking one or two bathroom selfies that’s for sure, (not to mention the gorgeous Cowshed products).

If you’re heading to London for Christmas you MUST pay a visit to see the tree and decorations, you’ll come out feeling more festive then you’ve ever felt before. I haven't got many photos, but you can get a small taster of what's to come.
